Magnetic separators are typically installed in breweries at key locations such as grain intakes, before high-impact machinery, and within syrup or malt extract liquid lines.
Mag-Ram® Self-Cleaning Magnets are placed at grain intake areas to ensure the incoming grain is free from metal fragments and magnetic stones. For de-hulled or broken grain, these magnets are positioned upstream of high-impact machinery to protect against damage, reduce wear from stones, and prevent potential grain dust explosions caused by metal sparks.
To address the abrasiveness of grain, we offer the Dura-Slik® surface technology, which enhances the durability of magnet surfaces and reduces wear. For syrups and malt extracts, inline RE80® Pressure Pipeline Magnets effectively remove fine metal fragments before final packing or processing.
