Overview
Magnattack® Grate and Grid Magnets are designed to capture magnetic fragments from hoppers, chutes, ducts, and packaging outlets. Their grate or grid design allows products to cascade over powerful magnetic bars, ensuring direct contact for effective product safety and the secure retention of contaminants. Magnattack offers a variety of grate magnets, including center-support style grates, square, circular, and rectangular configurations, as well as enclosed grates. For optimal performance, factors such as product type, flow rate, and contamination type should be considered when selecting bar diameter, spacing, construction, abrasion resistance, hygiene, and other key specifications.

What sizes do these come in?
Typically, Grate magnets will come in whatever size is required. Common sizes are 10″ x 10″ (250 mm), 12″ x 12″ (300 mm), 14″ x 14″ (355 mm), and 16″ x 16″ (405 mm) to name a few.
Is a push tool available for cleaning?
Depending on the design, a push tool and cleaning tray can be provided to enhance cleaning efficiency, particularly in high-abrasion environments where the product is prone to binding, buildup, or stickiness. These tools minimize unhygienic hand contact and reduce the risk of injuries from sharp metal fragments.
Is the RE80 Technology available with Magnattack grate magnets?
Yes! Our grate and grid magnets are available in our RE80 magnet technology with 10,000 gauss to ensure high-strength and quality.
